On September 20th, 2025, KCDF, in partnership with TotalEnergies, conducted a cleaning exercise at Ngara Girls’ and Jamhuri Boys’ Secondary Schools in Nairobi to mark the World Cleanup Day. The initiatives engaged students in meaningful environmental action while setting the stage for upcoming mentorship programs in both schools.
At Ngara Girls, Form Two students actively cleaned their school environment, while Form Two and Three students at Jamhuri Boys joined hands in cleaning the school. The activity promoted environmental responsibility and encouraged students to take ownership of their spaces.
This cleanup exercise comes ahead of the launch of the Inspire Her Mentorship Programme at Ngara Girls and the Mentenda Mentorship Programme at Jamhuri Boys, both set to begin in 2026.
