Weru Technical College races to battle climate change effects

Weru Technical and Vocational College in Kilifi County has become a key player in the global response to the climate change crisis. By planting trees and implementing the use of energy-saving cooking cookstoves, the college has taken significant steps towards curbing climate change.

This achievement has been made possible through a collaborative effort between KCDF, I&M Foundation, and A Rocha Kenya. Since 2020, these organizations have worked together to promote community engagement in environmental conservation in Kilifi and Narok Counties.
