About Change The Game (CTGA)
KCDF in partnership with Wilde Ganzen are launching an ambitious program dubbed ‘Change the Game Academy’ aiming at building up capacities of a broad range of organizations at the grassroots level. The program will be delivered through an online portal for E-learning that has been created and modules developed.
Areas Of Focus For CTGA
The Change the Game Academy will offer Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and other interested Non Profit entities the tools to strengthen their capacity in the following three interrelated domains:
- Local Resources Mobilization: Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) need a high and diversified income to achieve their mission. Change the Game E-learning on local fundraising will support organizations to acquire the basic knowledge and skills to successfully raise funds and diversify income for their organizations.
- Mobilizing Support/ Claim Making: This will include all possible actions to influence decision-making affecting grassroots level organizations, their beneficiaries and their work. Claim-making focuses mostly on winning support for the implementation of policy decisions, or of legislative norms and standards and of administrative measures at the local level.
- Organizational Development / Capacity Building: Developing a Civil Society Organization demands a lot of effort at different levels. Leadership and Governance, Project Planning Monitoring & Evaluation (PPME), Strategic Planning, Communication & Marketing, Finance Policies, Procedures & Systems all need to be set up and continuously strengthened. Change the Game E-learning on Organizational Capacity will give participating organizations the tools and skills to further develop and sustain their organizations.
